2.0 SOFTWARE FOR RPM WITH NEW FEATURES
At
the HRS congress mid May in New Orleans EPMedSystems
demonstrated for the first time the new features of
their RPM mapping and navigation module for the EP-WorkMate.
Some of the new features refer to
the anatomic modelling of the heart : The user can now
define the anatomy of any heart chamber very quickly
and precisely including Pulmonary Veins and annulus
cutouts. Just by routine catheter movements the anatomy
can be displayed with an accuracy of 1 mm. It is not
necessary to integrate CT or MRI images or to purchase

ANNOUNCES FDA CLEARANCE FOR EP-4 STIMULATOR
EPMedSystems
announced today that after CE mark it received also
market clearance from the FDA for the US-market for
an enhancement to its EP-4 Computerized Cardiac Stimulator,
which allows the user to stimulate the heart using
constant current or constant voltage output. The enhanced
stimulator can now be used in both EP diagnostic studies
of the heart and pacemaker implantations where measuring
voltage threshold are fundamental. |
